Botanical excursions for advanced students (B.Biodiv.331/M.Biodiv.401)

  • 25. May 2019: Dörnberg near Zierenberg: Semi-dry grasslands on lime stone and basalt (Bergmeier, Schmiedel, Schellenberg)
  • 1. June 2019: Species-rich forests and grasslands in the Werra mountains (Hertel, Köhler)
  • 15. June 2019: Montane meadows and forests in the Western Harz mountains (Köhler, Hertel)
  • 29. June 2019: Walkenried, southern Harz: Wet meadows, alluvial forests, ponds and riparian vegetation (Bergmeier, Goedecke, Goral)
  • 6. July 2019: Mires and bogs in the Upper Harz mountains (Schwerdtfeger, Drehwald)

Students can register for one, two or more of the all-day excursions. Transport is arranged via bus (exception: for the excurion on 29th of June where we will take the train (student ticket); further information will be given via e-mail). As the number of students taking part in the excursions is limited due to space in the busses please register for the excursions by putting your name on the list of participants, These are available at the first floor of the main entrance of Albrecht-von-Haller-Institute. Please only register for those excursions in which you really will participate. Information to the preparation of protocols is given here (in German).
